BREMERTON, WA— Enrique Hidalgo scored three goals and dished out three assists and the Olympic Force (4-0-0) topped the Vancouver Victory (0-4-0) 12-6 before around 300 fans at the Olympic Sports Center.

Clusters of goals happened for both sides. Hidalgo got the Force moving with a nifty backheel goal (video). The vistors were down 2-0 but got one back in the second quarter. Then the Force scored twice near the end of the first half to take a 4-1 lead.

Right away in the second half the Force scored again, and it appeared that the match might be out of reach for the visitors. However, V2FC made it 5-2 and then scored back-to-back powerplay goals to shock the Force. It was 5-4 and game on.

Olympic regrouped and improved their possession game to break away again. While the Victory did manage to get to 9-6 (video of goal), in the end another cluster of home side scores made the 12-6 final look like a larger margin than the actual run of the match warranted.
