Coach Hacker had this to say about his new role

I am honored to be appointed as the next head coach of the Vancouver Victory. I look forward to working with Coach Bierl to continuing the strong traditions of V2FC. To have my name next to some of these great coaches is a privilege. Aaron Lewis, Biniam Afenegus, and Logan Emory are all well respected coaches. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with the next group of players, and very excited to see what the season brings us. A huge thank you to Sean Janson and JNB Mechanical. Go Victory!”

Joining Coach Hacker on the coaching staff is returning assistant coach Andrew Bierl. Coach Bierl was the lead assistant on last year’s team and his presence will make the coaching change a seamless process due to his connections with last year’s players and others in the community.
