The 2023 Victory Women’s season brings some substantial change with the team playing in the Cascadia Premier League (CPL) 1st division. After six successful seasons in the NW Premier League with championships earned in 2017 (under Washington Timbers) and 2021, the Victory women are excited to compete against the best the CPL has to offer.

Maddy WrightHaving Coach Maddy Wright (Clark College) back to lead the team will provide a steadying influence in the new league. Coach Wright’s Clark College team just finished a very successful NWAC season losing to Spokane Community College 2-3 in a fierce championship match. Coach Wright will undoubtedly look to build off her collegiate success with Victory this summer.

“I am thrilled to lead the Vancouver Victory Women this 2023 season. I want to thank Sean Janson, and the rest of the community for trusting me with this team. I love the vision to be Clark County’s, and all zip codes in between, choice for player development and competition. I believe this is a place where we can pursue excellence while also fostering an environment focused on character development. Our success will not only be measured in wins and losses, but also by the way we contribute and influence our community and young girls looking up to us in a positive way. I am excited to get started and to lead this team to the top of the Cascadia Premier League!”

The CPL season begins in May and concludes in early July with semifinals and finals occurring July 7th & 9th. The playoffs will be hosted at Harmony Sports Complex.

There will be an open tryout April 16th 4-6pm at Harmony for all those interested in joining the Victory for the 2023 season. Cost is $35 to register and covers all player fees for the entire season.
